
A 29-year-old Pendleton, Oregon, man has been charged with two felonies in Carroll County.
A report from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper says he was alerted to a man driving a stolen vehicle on August 19. The U-Haul box truck was reported stolen from Kansas City. Travis Neal Bronson was apprehended at Break Time in Carrollton.
The trooper says while searching the vehicle, he located a large machete and a set of 52 keys.
Bronson has been charged with a Class D Felony for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree; a Class E Felony for Possession of Burglary Tools; and a driving-while-revoked misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash.
Bronson’s initial hearing is pending at Carroll County Circuit Court.
