Dustin Johnson ran away from the competition at The Northern Trust by posting a final-round 63 to finish at 30-under par and claim a dominant 11-stroke victory Sunday.
Johnson’s win at TPC Boston marks his 22nd on the PGA Tour and vaults the 36-year-old to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking, a spot he last held in April of 2019.
His triumph is also his fifth FedEx Cup Playoff title, tying Rory McIlroy for the most ever.
Harris English was a distant second; followed by Daniel Berger third at 18-under par; Kevin Kisner and Scottie Scheffler tied for fourth at -17; and Jon Rahm and Webb Simpson knotted at 16-under par in a tie for sixth.
