Louise VanSteenburgh, age 73, of Sweet Springs, died Saturday, August 22, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, at Houstonia Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the Lion’s Club Building in Sweet Springs following the graveside service.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Survivors include three daughters, Dhana Pope and Cassy Banks, of Marshall, and Kari Bales, of Slater; one son, Chad
VanSteenburgh, of Sweet Springs; eight grandchildren; one sister, Brenda McCoun (Tim), of Appleton City; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Albert Lewis Thomas and Bernice Stark Thomas, and husband, James R. VanSteenburgh; she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Glascock; and one brother, Jim Thomas.
