Temperatures in Iraq and Afghanistan are up to thermometer-busting levels.

A news release says just imagine how tough it is for U.S. troops serving in the hottest, dustiest battle zone imaginable.
According to The Weather Channel, summer temperatures in Iraq and Afghanistan are predicted to soar up to 114 degrees by next week.

The scorching temperatures are punishing, but you can help.

Care packages come with lots of great items to help the troops beat the heat. Sunblock, lip balm, deodorant and refreshing wet field towels- which are strong enough to be reused and large enough to enable troops to take a field shower. Also included is powdered Gatorade that troops can just mix up with some water for a refreshing drink that replaces critical electrolytes.
