Due to expected thunderstorms in the Springfield area, the Missouri State football scrimmage slated for Saturday evening has been canceled.

A news release says head coach Bobby Petrino is uncertain if a make-up scrimmage can be scheduled before the team’s season opener.

The Bears will open their 2020-21 campaign on Saturday, September 12, at Oklahoma.
