A 46-year-old Ionia man is facing a couple of felonies in relation to the shooting death of a woman last year.

Travis Henderson is accused of killing 47-year-old Khristy Clark on May 15, 2019.

Henderson, is charged with a Class A Felony for First-Degree Murder and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Henderson is being held without bond.

Henderson pleaded not guilty on August 20 of last year and he remains in custody after his motion to grant his release was denied by the court on March 30th.

Henderson’s Motion for a Change of Venue was denied in June due to untimeliness and lack of good cause.

A Hearing in this case that was schedule for Tuesday, September 1 has been continued. A date for Trial Setting is scheduled to be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20 at Benton County Circuit Court.
