Marshall Municipal Services Director Bill Anderson has put out a list of the streets that are scheduled to be repaved this season.
According to the release, the streets are:

The Town Square. All four sides.
Anderson says cold milling (grinding the streets down) started on Monday, August 31, with the Square planned for Wednesday, September 2.
Paving the streets back with new asphalt will begin on Wednesday, September 2, with the square planned for Thursday, September 3.
The tentative plan as of now is:
Mill on Monday, August 31
Lincoln, Eastwood and Odell.
Mill on Tuesday, September 1

Mill on Wednesday, September 2
The Square.
Mill on Thursday, September 3

After the milling machine finishes a street, that street will be cleaned and reopened to traffic. It will have two-inch bumps and manholes that drivers will have to be aware of and drive carefully. Cones will be put on manholes, but they don’t always stay in place.
Paving on Wednesday, September 2
Lincoln and possibly Odell.
Paving on Thursday, September 3
Square – east half.
Paving on Friday, September 4
Square – west half.
Tuesday, September 8
City of Marshall street department will excavate High St. from English to Ellsworth -for paving.
Paving on Tuesday, September 8
Eastwood and Vest.
Paving on Wednesday, September 9
Miami.
Paving Thursday, September 10
English and High.
Once the paving is completed on a street it will have to remain closed for a period of time to allow the asphalt to cool. Each street will be reopened as soon as it can be, without causing damage to the new pavement.
No work will take place over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Weather days will change this schedule.
