During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Tuesday, September 1, Treasurer Marty Smith read an announcement from Clerk Debbie Russell, who could not be at the meeting.

Smith said Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft is scheduled to be in Marshall on Thursday, September 3.

Smith said the event is open to the public.
