
Increasing by more than 1,600 on Friday, September 4, the state’s total number of positive COVID-19 cases is now more than 90,000 since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number of positive cases was 90,215- up from 88,610 on Thursday.
COVID-19-related deaths increased by 17 from 1,545 on Thursday to 1,562 on Friday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.
DHSS expects the next update to take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 5.
