With the number of positive COVID-19 cases increasing by more than 700 on Tuesday, September 8, the total is more than 95,000 in the state since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total number of positive cases was 95,113- up from 94,340 on Monday, September 7.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by two from 1,659 on Monday to 1,661 on Tuesday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.

DHSS says the next update will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9.
