Six new positive cases of COVID-19 and nine more recoveries were reported in Lafayette County Thursday.

The Lafayette County Health Department has confirmed a total of 283 cases of COVID-19. To date, there have been 230 recoveries, leaving 50 active cases.

Approximately 17-percent of the county population has been tested for the virus.
