On Wednesday, September 9, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported over 1,300 more positive cases of COVID-19 in the state.

The total number of positive cases was 96,475- up from 95,113 on Tuesday, September 8.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths jumped by 12 from 1,661 on Tuesday to 1,673 on Wednesday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.

DHSS says the next update is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 10.
