Up by more than 1,600 on Sunday, September 13, the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 eclipsed the 102,000 mark in the state since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the total was 102,747- up from 101,134 on Saturday, September 12.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths increased by one from 1,704 on Saturday to 1,705 on Sunday. However, DHSS does not report how many positive patients have recovered.

DHSS says the next update is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 14.
