A 38-year-old Sedalia man is facing a couple of drug-related felony charges after a traffic stop earlier this year in Pettis County.

According to a Sedalia Police report, an officer says he located two different baggies of methamphetamine (total weight of 33.1 grams); one baggie containing controlled pills; and a digital scale inside the vehicle on March 5.

Court documents say Eric Wissman has been charged with a Class C felony for Trafficking Drugs in the Second Degree and a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Wissman’s initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
