Alverna “Vernie” Brackman Nierman, 99, of Concordia, MO, died Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 19, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia with burial following in the church cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Good Shepherd Care Community and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Survivors include two sons, Paul Brackman (Betty) and Curt Brackman (Sharon), all of Concordia; one step-son, Kenneth Nierman (Mary) of Concordia; five grandchildren: Troy Brackman (Carlene), Cindy Heimsoth (Brett), Nicole Gemeinhardt (Todd), Karen Bauer (Tim) and Kelly Virus (Chris); 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Alvin Bredehoeft and Esther Zumbehl Bredehoeft; and husbands, Raymond Brackman in 1969 and Fritz Nierman in 2003; she was preceded in death by one grandson, Tony Nierman; and one brother, Willard Bredehoeft.
