A section of Route U in Carroll County is scheduled to be closed for culvert replacement.

A news release says local maintenance crews from Missouri Department of Transportation are scheduled to close the road between County Roads 221 and 231 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, and Thursday, September 17.

During these closures, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
