During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, September 17, Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner gave an update on the water and sewer project taking place at the Marshall Junction.

Fenner said the painting of the water tower has commenced.

Fenner said the county’s engineer will be working next month on the final cost analysis of the sewer, and the commission should have that before the end of the year.

In other news, Fenner said there will remain to be only one entrance into the courthouse in Marshall for the foreseeable future. The entrance is on the west side of the courthouse, and face coverings are required.
