The weather is predicted to be perfect for a litter pickup event on Saturday, September 19.

According to Marshall RISE, the Take Pride in Marshall “David Kemm Memorial Trash Bash” is scheduled to be held beginning at 8:30 a.m.

A flyer says those who wish to participate and help clean up Marshall should gather at the Marshall City Office Building at 214 North Lafayette Avenue for a location and assignment.

Civic groups, businesses, organizations, families, churches, schools, youths and individuals are welcome.

Trash bags will be provided, but you need to bring face coverings and work gloves.

A celebratory lunch is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Indian Foothills Park.
