The City of Sedalia has issued a notice that Water Main repair will begin this week and will cause a number of lane restrictions throughout the city.

The city will begin repairs to replace two leaking water valves located in the middle of the intersections at East Third Street and South Osage Avenue on Monday, September 21, and at East Ninth Street and Hancock Avenue on Tuesday, September 22.

These intersections will be restricted to a single lane of traffic while replacement water valves are installed.

Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Travelers are advised to anticipate delays near these intersections and are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid delays on both Monday and Tuesday.
