There have been some positive COVID-19 tests of students and staff in an area school district.
During her report at the Marshall School Board meeting on Tuesday, September 22, Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher gave an update. Her update pertained only to the high school. She said she did not have an update from Bueker Middle School nor the elementary schools.
Dr. Maher said several have returned to work or class.
The Marshall Public School District started classes a little later than expected on Wednesday, September 2, rather than the original starting date of Monday, August 24. That start date was first pushed back to Wednesday, August 26, before the school board approved the starting date to be earlier this month due to COVID-19 concerns.
