The Saline County Health Department reported 11 new cases, raising the total to 755. With 632 cases deemed “recovered”, there are 111 active cases, three people remain hospitalized and there have been a total of 12 deaths related to the virus since the start of the pandemic.

Seven new cases of the virus were reported in Cooper County. According to the Cooper County Health Center, there have been 430 total cases reported since the start of the pandemic. With 341 cases recovered, there are 149 active cases and there have been a total three deaths related to the virus.

The Johnson County Health Department added 11 new cases and one new COVID-19 related death to their total bringing it to 1,173 confirmed cases. With 936 recovered, 232 remain active and as of Friday, there have been a total of five deaths in the county.

In Lafayette County, eight new cases were confirmed. To date, there have been 498 total cases reported. With 341 recovered, there are 149 active cases and there have been eight virus related deaths, previously reported.

There were no new cases reported in Carroll, Chariton or Howard counties on Friday.

In Carroll County, there have been 126 cases reported, 112 have been released from observation and 13 remain active and one death has been reported.

In Chariton County, the latest total reported was 74 total cases with 6 active cases, 68 recovered.

No new cases have been reported in Howard County since the last update on Thursday when there were 269 total cases, 239 recovered, 29 active and one death related to the virus since the start of the pandemic. As of Thursday, one person remained hospitalized.
