Mary Louise Plymell, 94, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.  Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church or Saline Animal League in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born February 18, 1926 in Bethany, MO, she was the daughter of the late James G. Plymell and Kitty Tull Plymell.  Miss Plymell graduated from high school in Bethany and then earned her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.  She later furthered her education and earned her Master’s degree in library science from the University of Illinois.  Miss Plymell taught math for a short while in Trenton and then moved to Marshall in 1962 where she served as the high school librarian until her retirement in 1990.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Missouri State Teachers Association and Missouri Retired State Teachers Association.

She is survived by cousins and local friends.
