An American Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled to be held in honor of a fallen law-enforcement officer this week.

According to a news release, the 26th Annual Corporal Michael E. Webster Memorial Blood Drive is scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, October 2, at Troop A Headquarters at 504 SE Blue Parkway in Lee’s Summit.

Webster was killed by a drunk driver in the line of duty in 1993.
