During the Marshall School Board meeting on Tuesday, the topic of when children will be returning to school was discussed. The Administration made the decision to bring the children back to school but not all on the same day. Superintendent, Dr. Carol Maher says there are two different days the schools will be returning.

The decision was made to bring the children back on different days due to the fact that so many of them are quarantined in the elementary and middle school level. Dr. Maher says when school resumes, the high school will be on the A & B schedule, and the elementary schools will be on the four days a week schedule, with distance learning for all students on Wednesdays.

Dr. Maher says there is a new entry on the district’s website that is updated daily. It shows county and school district status on the number of positive cases, the number of people in quarantine and more. When visiting the website, click on the Returning to Learning Plan and visit the COVID Data Dashboard.
