Four new deaths related to COVID-19 were reported in the KMMO listening area on Monday, October 12.

According to health-department officials, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases is up to 168 in Carroll County. With 148 positive cases recovered and three deaths, there are 17 active cases, including one person hospitalized.

There were 11 new cases of the virus reported over the weekend in Saline County. Due Monday, being a holiday, recoveries will be updated on Tuesday.

The Lafayette County Health Department reported three new deaths and 22 new cases. To date, there have been a total of 684 positive cases and 23 deaths. There are currently 161 active cases in the county.

Complete updates were not available from Chariton, Cooper, Howard, and Pettis Counties.
