
Students who attend Eastwood Elementary will be transitioning to all distance learning until next week.
As written in the MPS Returning to Learning plan, the percentages of Eastwood Elementary’s student and adult quarantines have surpassed the levels of concern.
According to MPS Superintendent, Dr. Carol Maher, Marshall Public Schools administration is transitioning students who attend Eastwood Elementary School to all distance learning until November 3rd. Eastwood Elementary student and adult quarantine numbers have surpassed the R2L plan thresholds of 10% of adults and 15% of students being absent from school.
While students are away, teachers will be providing instruction through distance learning, as is currently done every Wednesday.
Students may return to school in-person on Tuesday, November 3rd. Parents/Guardians are asked to watch for detailed information on distant learning and paper packets on DOJO and on the MPS website.
