Nearly 100 pounds of unwanted or expired prescription medications were collected during the United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Drug Take-Back event held on Saturday, October 24, in Marshall.

According to a release from the Marshall Police Department, the department collected 94 pounds of unwanted and/or outdated drugs.

The collected drugs are scheduled to be dropped off for collection by the DEA.

The next anticipated take-back event is tentatively scheduled to be held on the last Saturday in April 2021.
