Marshall Municipal Utilities General Manager Jeff Bergstrom is ecstatic about the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) approving a grant for MMU.

Bergstrom explains the $7.5 million grant is to expand the company’s broadband to more residents in Saline County.

Bergstrom explained some sort of a time line.

The first round Bergstrom talked about will take broadband availability to about a two-mile radius outside the city of Marshall.
