Karlin Breshears was appointed by Governor Mike Parson to fill out the year as Saline County Auditor on September 1.

The voters of the county have made Breshears the auditor for at least the next two years during the General Election on Tuesday, November 3.

Breshears gave thanks to the voters.

Breshears also thanked her competition- Jeron Tetteh.

Breshears says everything has been going well since she was appointed to the position.

Unofficial numbers say Breshears received 5,952 votes to Tetteh’s 3,232 votes.

Breshears will serve out the remaining two-year unexpired term of former auditor Tara Vogelsmeier, who resigned in July, which ends on December 31, 2022.
