When the race was over for the Missouri State House of Representatives in the 48th District, Republican Tim Taylor emerged victorious over his Democrat opponent Bill Betteridge.

Taylor thanks the voters for the support they gave him during the General Election on Tuesday, November 3.

According to the Missouri Secretary of State’s website, unofficially, Taylor won the race 11,420 votes to 5,286 for Betteridge. Taylor says he’s surprised by the margin of victory.

Taylor thanked Betteridge and says they remain friends.

The seat was open because of term limits. Dave Muntzel’s time in the House is up on December 31.
