
William Huston Driskell, 80, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall with Pastor William Voelker officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Higginsville. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Born May 10, 1940 in Marshall, he was the son of the late Cecil Narron and Bertha Hemme Narron. Huston lived in Marshall his entire life where he was a 1959 graduate of Marshall High School and then served three tours of duty in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps. On June 26, 1965 he married Gloria Dean Robertson who survives of the home. Huston worked for 32 years at Marshall Habilitation Center and retired as the supervisor of housekeeping. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 478 in Blackburn.
In addition to his wife, Gloria; he is survived by three children: Connie Lynn Copeland (John) of Conception Junction, Julie Ann Myers (Scott) of Marshall and David Wayne Driskell of Marshall; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren (with one on the way); as well as nieces and nephews.
Huston was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jane Driskell; two half-sisters, Gladys Narron and Joyce Johnson; and two half-brothers, Bobby Narron and Kenneth Narron.
