Like most of the country, the number of registered voters who cast a ballot during the General Election on Tuesday, November 3, in Saline County was impressive.

During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, November 5, Clerk Debbie Russell thanked everybody for stepping up.

Russell said the numbers were quite a bit higher for this election cycle compared to the last General Election in 2016 for her office.

Russell said certification of the election is scheduled for Friday, November 6.

The Municipal Election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
