A decision hasn’t been made as to what sewer system the Saline County Commission is going to choose for the needs for the economic development project at Marshall Junction. However, Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. gave an update on how things are progressing during the commission meeting on Thursday, November 5.
Guthrey said he received information from Rich Rhodes of Rhodes Engineering, the firm that is handling the project that will get water, sewer and electricity to attract businesses to the south side of the junction of U.S. Highway 65 and I-70.
Guthrey said it can be added to; and it can be installed within two weeks of the start time.
Guthrey said they are doing some surveying for the project.
Guthrey also talked about the bond for the sewer project.
Guthrey pointed out Rhodes will be at the meeting of the commission on Thursday, November 12, to give more information and answer any questions.
