Updates on COVID-19 numbers were given in two area counties on Wednesday, November 11.

According to health-department officials, in Saline County, one more COVID-19-related death was confirmed, raising the total to 16 in the county since the beginning of the pandemic. The death was of a 63-year-old man. Forty-seven more positive cases were added, increasing the total to 1,322. With 1,099 positive patients released from public health isolation as recovered- including 11 on Wednesday- and 16 deaths, there are 207 active cases.

Three positive cases were added in Chariton County, upping its total to 270. With 143 recoveries, there are 127 active cases.

Updates were not available from Carroll, Cooper, Howard and Pettis Counties.
