On Friday, November 13, the Lafayette County Health Department was notified that a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

Officials say out of an abundance of caution, the health department will be open for WIC Services, Birth/Death Certificates, and Water Samples and Deliveries only beginning on Monday, November 16.

All clinical services, including special flu clinics and late clinics are canceled. They also include clinics that were scheduled on November 16, 18, 23 and 25; the flu shot-only clinic on November 17; and an all-day clinic on November 24.

Normal clinic operations will resume from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Monday, November 30. If you have been identified as a close contact to the positive case, you will be notified by the COVID-19 team.

COVID-19 response efforts will continue as normal.
