During the meeting of the Marshall City Council on Monday, November 16, Ward 3 Councilman Dan Brandt said a sidewalk project is nearing completion.
In other news, City Administrator David Haugland gave an update on the striping of the roads in the city. He said the company that was approved by the council to do the work came in unprepared.
Brandt said Municipal Services Director Bill Anderson did the right thing.
Haugland said striping the parking stalls on the square will be a top priority.
Haugland also said they think the stop light on the southwest corner of Miami and College was a hit-and-run. He said the city will be getting it repaired and put back in place. He said he will check and see if any of the cost will be covered by the city’s insurance.
