Last year, area residents turned out in droves to support a fundraiser for the Saline Animal League. Organizers are hoping history repeats itself with the turnout for the third annual “Spayghetti and No Balls” dinner this week.

Cheyenne Friesz, one of the event’s organizers, said it is an important fundraiser for the Marshall Animal Shelter.

Friesz says this year’s event is going to be different than years past due to COVID-19.

Friesz is hopeful that despite the coronavirus residents will support the event.

Friesz says the drive-thru event is scheduled to run from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 20, at the Knights of Columbus Hall at the corner of West College Street and South English Avenue in Marshall.
