Students at an area college were scheduled to put on a performance of a children’s musical over the weekend but that will not be taking place.

The State Fair Community College Theatre Arts program as announced it has postponed the final three performances of the children’s musical “James and the Giant Peach” set for tonight, Saturday and Sunday, in Stauffacher Theatre on the Sedalia campus. The show will be rescheduled for spring with dates and times to be announced.

The spring semester will start Jan. 11.
