Area authorities are investigating the theft of a vehicle.

According to a report from the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, a resident in Grand Pass/Malta Bend area reported his 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck was stolen sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Friday, November 20. The vehicle is valued at $20,000.

The vehicle was recovered at about 3 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, in Jackson County.

A suspect is unknown at this time.
