One more COVID-19-related death was reported in Saline County in the last couple of days.

According to health-department officials, the death total is now 28 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Ten more positive cases were reported, bringing the overall total to 1,720. However, there were 53 recoveries in the last couple of days, dropping the active positive case count to 139, including seven positive patients hospitalized.

Updates were not available from the other six counties in the immediate KMMO listening area.
