Pilot Grove City Council will meet in regular session next week.

According to the city, there will be two ordinances on the agenda for consideration by the council. Both ordinances pertain to the renewal, for five years each, of two half-percent sales tax issues, one for transportation purposes and one for capital improvement purposes, to be placed on the ballot for consideration at the upcoming municipal election scheduled for April 6, 2021. Both of these tax issues are currently in force but are set to expire on September 30, 2021.

These ordinances will be considered by the council during the open session of the meeting which will be open to everyone but with certain covid-19 restrictions requiring six foot distancing and the wearing of face masks.
