Have a large evergreen that needs removed? Donate it to MDC for use as a Christmas tree outside the governor’s mansion.

It will be a busy week for Missouri Governor Mike Parson.

According to his office, Governor Parson will hold various official meetings with county executives, city mayors and senior staff, among others.

Governor Parson will hold one briefing at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, to provide an update on current events in Missouri. The briefing will be live-streamed on Governor Parson’s Facebook Page.

Prior to that, from 9 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, Governor Parson will attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new DNA Section addition of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s (MSHP) Crime Laboratory Division. Governor Parson will join MSHP Superintendent Colonel Eric Olson and Department of Public Safety Director Sandy Karsten at the event. This event will be at MSHP General Headquarters
at 1510 East Elm Street in Jefferson City.

Also from 3 to 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Governor Parson will host the Capitol Christmas Tree Ceremony at the State Capitol.

At 6 p.m. on Friday, December 4, Governor Parson will host the annual lighting of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion Christmas tree.
