Marshall Municipal Utilities has announced Will Crisp as its “Employee of the Quarter” for the quarter ending September 30, 2020.

A news release says in nominating Crisp, Underground Facilities Director Grant Piper highlighted Crisp’s leadership and dedication during trying times related to COVID-19.

“Will completed a sewer-main replacement project while understaffing caused the crew to change personnel, often on a daily basis.” Piper said. “Will kept the project moving forward, safe and completed the project on time. Will’s knowledge of MMU’s assets and his dedication to quality along with his ability to teach newer members of Underground Facilities make him a great choice for Employee of the Quarter.”

Crisp joined MMU in April 1994 as a Meter Reader. In 1996, Crisp transferred to a General Maintenance role in Underground Facilities. Crisp was promoted to Maintenance in 1998, and was promoted to System Operator in 2007. In July 2017, Crisp was promoted to Foreman in Underground Facilities, the position he holds today.
