An area school district’s student organization is collecting toys for needy children.

According to a news release, the New Franklin High School Student Council is collecting toys for the “Toys for Tots”program.

If you would like to help those in need have a great Christmas this year, you are urged to bring in a new toy to one of the collection boxes near both the high school/middle school office or elementary office by Friday, December 18.
