Robert “Bob” Hemme, 84, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the home of his daughter in Houstonia.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born April 9, 1936 in Blackburn, he was the son of the late Edwin Hemme and Hulda Pragman Hemme.  Bob lived in Saline County most of his life and farmed for several years as well as driving a truck.  In July 1957 he married Shirley Breshears and was blessed with six children.  In April 2005 he married Marsha Zahn Hutcherson who preceded him in death.  The vast majority of Bob’s career was spent with W.B. Young in Marshall where he worked for 44 years until his retirement at the age of 76.

Survivors include four children: Faith Brown (Bobby) of Houstonia, Kathy Johnson (Greg) of Clinton, Mark Hemme (Sherry) of Smithton and Gary Hemme (Melissa) of LaMonte; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In addition to his parents and both wives, Bob was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Ray Hemme and Steven Robert Hemme; as well as four sisters and four brothers.
