
A 42-year-old Matthews, North Carolina, woman is facing a drug-related felony charge after a traffic stop in Lafayette County on Tuesday, December 8.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the trooper says he found two Crown Royal bags containing small containers of marijuana; a grinder; and flavored cigars in one area of the vehicle. He also located two containers of THC-infused edibles in another location; and a controlled pill inside the woman’s purse. Inside the trunk, the trooper says he located two large bags containing vacuum-sealed packages of marijuana and two large jars of THC oil. The trooper estimated the marijuana weighed approximately 50 pounds and the containers of oil approximately four pounds.
Court documents say Jeanine Elaine Hunt is charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and a drug-related misdemeanor. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Hunt entered a plea of not guilty during her arraignment hearing on Wednesday, December 9. Her next hearing is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
