A new setup is now being used to report updated COVID-19 cases in Saline County.

According to the Saline County Health Department, numbers will not be updated via Facebook any more. Instead, the agency will update numbers on its COVID-19 dashboard. All numbers will automatically update by 10:30 p.m. every day except Saturday.

The dashboard includes the total number of positive cases to date; active cases; inactive cases; the number of COVID-19-related deaths; the number of positive cases in the last day, week and two-week period; as well as the number of cases during the 14-day period per 100,000 residents.

There also is a bar graph to show the number of positive cases by age group; and a pie chart to illustrate how many positive cases are from each sex.

In addition, there is a breakdown of the number of cases that have been confirmed in each city, town or village in the county.
