Saline County Treasurer Marty Smith gave the December Sales Tax Report during the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, December 10.

Smith also updated three other taxes.

Smith also noted the monthly average of each of the taxes was up from last year’s average. Sales tax was up about $1,600 per month; Law-Enforcement tax nearly $1,300 per month; Use tax more than $12,000 per month; Law-Enforcement Sunset tax about $400 per month; and the Economic-Development Sunset Sales tax approximately $2,700 per month.
