Saline County Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner gave an update on an upcoming bridge project during the commission meeting on Thursday, December 17.

Fenner said the process has taken a while.

Fenner explained the bridge is located on Marshall Street between the town of Sweet Springs and Sweet Springs R-7 School.

In other news, the commissioners announced the courthouse will be closed on Thursday, December 24; Friday, December 25; Thursday December 31; and Friday, January 1, in observance of upcoming holidays.
