Robert Lee McCreery, age 68, of Overland Park, KS, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 20, at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, where the family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Pilot Grove City Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Charlie Earnest, Rob Bousman, Tyler Hayes, Kevin Hulse, Clint Hulse and Larry Andres.

He was born October 19, 1952, in Kansas City, MO, son of Presley Buford and Marjorie Aileen (Tally) McCreery.

Robert worked as a furniture refinisher. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, and gaming. He was always there to help people in need.

Surviving are five siblings, Charlotte Goyer, of Shawnee, KS, Carol Hulse, of Shawnee, KS, Kathy Bousman, of Paola, KS, Richard McCreery, of Overland Park, KS, and Ray McCreery, of Shawnee, KS; eight nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews; and six great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
